Selective Importers

June 21, 2012 Stephanie Leary 2 Comments

I’ve released another plugin! Selective Importers was commissioned by Pressbooks, and is basically a clone of the official WordPress, Blogger, and Tumblr importers with one major difference: it puts the incoming content into a queue, and from there you can choose which posts (pages, etc.) to import.

Cool! And I now know enough about WordPress to see how this would be useful.

See, if I had only slacked one more week on importing my old blog to my new website, I could have used this plugin to keep things clean vs. the crap I’m dealing with now — sorting through the draft posts I imported mixed with my existing drafts. This is a great idea for a plugin!
