new features in Content Audit: boss view, per-post expiration dates

June 19, 2012 Stephanie Leary Leave a Comment

I’ve updated Content Audit with two big new features. The first, suggested by Shelley Keith, is the “boss view”: an overview of your content’s status, with a breakdown of who’s responsible for fixing it. Check out the last screenshot for an example, on a site with two editors where pages and media files are being audited.

The second is the most requested feature: expiration dates for individual posts (and pages, etc.). On the selected date, the post will be marked as outdated. The individual dates work in addition to the site-wide setting for automatically marking posts outdated.

Enjoy, and let me know in the forum if you have any issues.

A little bird tells me that someone’s working on a port of Content Audit for Drupal. I’ll let you know when I know more!
