Help me, internets. I need a new reading chair.
The old one is a papasan. It’s doing horrible things to my back. (See how there’s a bottle of aspirin in the photo next to the coaster? Yeah. Took me forever to figure out that the damn chair was causing at least half my back problems.)
I have a Poäng that I use for writing, but it’s not very comfy as a reading chair. The arms are hard, and I can’t lean to either side comfortably. I like to curl up on my side. This is bad news in the papasan, and virtually impossible in the Poäng.
Moving to the couches in the living room is not a good option, because a) they’re in the middle of the room, so there are no lamps, b) our only TV is in there, and it’s usually on, and c) the couches aren’t very comfortable, either. New couches are on the agenda, but we have to pay off the kitchen remodel first. One chair, I can maybe squeeze into the budget, especially if I call it a birthday gift and it’s something that helps me dispense with the regular visits to the chiropractor and the massage therapist.
So I need a new reading chair. And I have no idea what to get.
What’s your favorite reading chair? And do you have a picture of it?

I have no reading chair. 90% of my reading happens in bed or at my computer chair. I suppose if I were to specifically look for a chair in which to read, I’d get an love seat or an oversized couch-chair.

Most comfortable reading chair is the Huggmee Chair: http://www.huggmee.com
It is a very unique design, like being held in your mommy’s arms when you were a baby! You can sling a leg or two over the opposite side or tuck both feet into the chair. It is a corner chair too, and nice looking.

I’m not sure, but if you don’t want your papasan, I would love to take it off your hands ;]
