Ni90, week 6

February 23, 2007 Stephanie Leary Leave a Comment

Well, I managed to keep writing and making quota every day while I was sick, but this has been my slowest week yet. That’s okay. The cold is almost gone, and — really, truly this time — I will work on figuring out the second half of my book this weekend, since last weekend turned into a big sneezefest.

I’m still bored with the story. Out of desperation, I’ve started thinking up ways to make it more interesting. This quiet tale of small-town Texas life needs more… zombies? Zeppelins? Last night Michael suggested rocket-powered gnomes.

My book now features rocket-powered gnomes. I shit you not. I think they’re more or less believable in context, too.

61K. Sleep well, little book, I’ll most likely kill you in the morning….
