Martian Death Flu II

Today was a grinding day at work, the kind of day where it doesn’t matter that you were sick for a week or that you’re still recovering files from having to reinstall your OS; everyone needs their shit right frakking now. Bleh. Had to come home and spend a mindless hour with BSG before the gears would turn again.

The gears were already a little wonky due to last night’s writing session, which was an exercise in self-loathing. Then I opened up the file today and realized that yesterday was day 45, the halfway point. No wonder it sucked! Tonight we will revel in the first day of downhill slide.

Naturally, since I’m feeling better, Michael is holed up in his study wearing two shirts and running the space heater, even though it’s 80 degrees out and we still have the thermostat set to heat. I let him in on the stash of Kleenex and echinacea I laid in last week.

Speaking of the warmth outside — I’m hearing crickets right now. Spring is here! I suppose that means I should clean something…
