Strange light

August 17, 2006 Stephanie Leary 1 Comment

The light outside has gone very weird in the last ten minutes or so. It’s nearly sunset, and it was a very hot, clear day, but a line of thunderstorms is moving in and the sun is just obscured by the leading edge of the clouds. It’s semi-dark but oddly yellow, and the puffy clouds opposite the storm are outlined exactly like a Maxfield Parrish painting.

mmm, I love it when the light gets like that. It’s pretty common around late summer and early fall. Some of the most beautiful times of day, in my opinion. :)
