Who is “Leary” on Outlander?

Since last week’s episode of Outlander, I’m suddenly getting a ton of traffic from people wondering who “Leary” is.

This is Laoghaire, which is pronounced “Leary.” (More or less.)

Apparently a ton of people didn’t catch her name–if you haven’t read the books, I don’t blame you; there are a ton of characters–and Google is unhelpfully directing everybody at this old blog post I made about rereading the books before the show premiered.

So there you go: Laoghaire is the blonde teenager who has a crush on Jamie and might or might not have left an ill-wish under his and Claire’s bed at the end of “The Reckoning.”
