Tuesday giveaway: CSS3 for Web Designers

October 8, 2013 Stephanie Leary

cederholm-css3-for-web-designersToday I’m giving away a copy of Dan Cederholm’s CSS3 for Web Designers, published by A Book Apart. I adore this book. It’s the best concise introduction to all the CSS tricks I use on a daily basis: gradients, opacity, animation. This is one of the books I recommend in WordPress for Web Developers for people who are diving into WordPress themes without having caught up first on the latest in HTML and CSS.

To win, leave a comment and tell me what you’re working on. What’s your current project? Winners will be chosen via random number generator at 9pm and notified by email. This is a paperback copy, so I’ll ask for a mailing address.

Tomorrow, you’ll have a chance to win the paperback edition of WordPress for Web Developers. And don’t forget the Friday fun giveaway!

    Stephanie,

I have two WordPress plugins (Contextual Related Posts and Top 10) that display a boring list based output which is compatible with CSS styles. The biggest request and desire from users is a more beautiful output that I can customize using CSS.

Hi Stephanie! I am currently working on the redesign of our company website, figuring out a content strategy for our labor-of-love side-project website, and figuring out what to make first with my new little letterpress-ish gadget tool thingy. :) Thanks!

Hi Stephanie! What a great giveaway! I’m currently working on a parallax site for a film production company and a simple info site for a women’s rights/legal info non-profit organization.
    Here’s hoping :)

    Hi!

I’m currently setting up a WordPress blog for our bookstore. I’m also working hard at learning how to build a WP theme and wrestling with much my outdated knowledge of CSS :P

    Thank you!

Trying to do a WordPress site for my quit smoking program. I was researching how to import pages…came across your plugins. I couldn’t pass up the chance for a free book.
