Training. Done. Thud.

What’s been stressing me at work for the last couple of weeks is that I had to teach Dreamweaver to about 20 people. About half of them were accustomed to using FrontPage, and the other half had never worked with web stuff at all. There were maybe 3 who were at all familiar with HTML.

It’s amazing how much of what I do in DW is on autopilot. When I actually have to think about the half-dozen ways you can add an image to a page — much less document the process — my head hurts.

In other news, Dreamweaver’s support for accessible tables sucks. Once you’ve entered the summary at the prompt, you can’t seem to get back to it without going to code view. As far as I can tell, there’s no way to define header and footer rows, either, without doing it manually. Argh.
