To everyone who liked Anna Nalick: try KT Tunstall, Tina Dico, and Over the Rhine. Excellent stuff, if you go for altos-with-guitars (and of course I do). Anything else in that vein I should check out? I’m always on the hunt for things I can sing to on the way to work.
Anna Nalick has a song on the Desperate Housewives soundtrack, which I wouldn’t have picked up for its association with the show, but there seems to be some nice stuff there. I’ll report back when I’ve heard more than the 30-second iTunes clips.
To everyone who likes Ivy: have you heard Paco or Brookville? Both are side projects I’ve recently discovered. Paco is less dreamy, more rock; Brookville is Andy Chase on his own, basically doing Ivy’s smooth thing but a little less girly.
Edited to add: Hey! Rosey is back online, and seems to have a new album coming out soonish! You can listen to a few of the tracks at myspace and purevolume. Can’t believe how long it’s been since Dirty Child; I loved that CD to pieces.
In other news, ’tis the season of Cadbury chocolate! O happy me. Have a good Easter, everyone.

See, I knew you were psychic! I’ve just been wondering what was good and Anna-Nalick-like. I think I’ve worn out that CD.

I think I like Feist, too, but I’ve only heard one song all the way through (“Mushaboom”).
