Library Lookup

September 17, 2004 Stephanie Leary

I just ran across the Library Lookup project, which lets you build a bookmarklet to search your local library for books that catch your eye on Amazon. Brilliant. Just keep in mind that the base URL might not be the same as the library’s home page URL, so go to the library site, do a search, and copy the address. For the B/CS library, the base URL is http://ipac.bcslibrary.org/ and the vendor is iPac. Enjoy.

Found at 43 Folders, an excellent Mac tip site.
