Two copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix were found in an open field yesterday in England.
Did the finder do the sensible thing, and read the book? No, the silly git took the two stripped copies to the newspaper, where they’re being held under lock and key until they can be returned to the publisher. Unbelievable. This ain’t the Dead Sea Scrolls, people; we’re talking about a work of fiction intended for children.
Someday Harry Potter is going to be likened to the tulip craze in history books. (via Book2Book)
