Home again

April 28, 2003 Stephanie Leary

We’re back from San Antonio, having learned the following:

  • Lackland traffic sucks
  • the new coffee/smoothie place in Leon Valley makes a mean chai smoothie
  • my parents could not keep track of an electronic item if you glued it to their foreheads
  • my dad’s ribs really are the best in the world
  • Presented with a new Air Force recruit, people who have been in the Air Force are incapable of talking about anything other than the Air Force
  • I am still capable of navigating through the Parkwood/Hunter’s Chase subdivisions
  • my parents’ computer contained 199 items declared suspicious by Ad-Aware
  • the purpose of our visits is to keep my parents’ technology updated and in working order

I am tired. Don’t want to be back at work.
