Never again will I feel bad about sending food back to the kitchen in a restaurant. I ordered nachos at lunch today, and they came with jalopeños even though that wasn’t listed on the menu. I sort of meekly asked if I could get some without, and when the waiter came back, he informed me in an undertone that the kitchen staff wanted to thank me because they’d eaten the plate I sent back.
