I have finally gotten my Tivo doing everything I want it to. It’s been in pieces on the floor for months; it’s a relief to put the lid back on and be done with it—without giving up any of the functionality I wanted. One piece that I needed was just released today, so I suppose it’s just as well that I haven’t tackled this project since October or so.
The price of success was, as usual, my writing. All I wanted to do was finish typing up the last few months’ worth of notebook scribbles, but I’m only caught up through the first half of February.
