iTunes psychic?

January 30, 2003 Stephanie Leary

Twice today, I’ve turned on iTunes and set it to play random songs from my top-rated list only to have it start with the song that was already running through my head. (At the moment, it’s K’s Choice, Virgin State of Mind. Not exactly a ubiquitous track.) This is freaking me out a little, but it’s nice at the same time.

I must say, Smart Playlists are the shit. Once I figured out that most of my favorite songs come from soundtracks, I just created a playlist for genre=soundtrack, rating>3. Randomize, play, sail happily through an afternoon of HTML drudgery.

The Crazy/Beautiful soundtrack is currently my most-played album – as well it should be.
