Wrote 150 words exactly for the new version of chapter one tonight. Slow going, but I’m pleased with the result – and it actually adds something to the story, unlike the junk I trimmed over the weekend.
I still haven’t gotten Rainen into the city, but I’ve given him a damned good excuse for wandering around the riverbank on his own in the middle of the night. Now all I have to do is kidnap him. No problem.
