Container Store

January 10, 2002 Stephanie Leary

The reason I went to the hardware store tonight is that I was looking for substitutes for some elfa stuff, the real thing being more expensive than I care for. They didn’t have quite what I wanted, so I might have to spring for the good stuff.

The Container Store is evil. On the bright side, my pantry, my silverware drawer, and my closet are in much better shape than they were two weeks ago. On the down side, I’m not through yet, and I’ll be in Dallas this weekend – within striking distance of a store, instead of just drooling online.

They will actually plan your closet for you (how does one become an expert in that??), and I’m ashamed to say I submitted the dimensions of my hall closet for their inspection. It really is a nightmare. Good thing I’ll be working overtime this month.
