Need more internet

June 26, 2007 Stephanie Leary Leave a Comment

Did I really write “end of scene” last night as a reason for stopping? That was not the end of the scene. This is the end of the scene.

New words: 896
Reason for stopping: I fall over now.
Sustenance: Raspberry tea, low-fat Ben & Jerry’s chocolate-fudge something-or-other
Exercise: BodyFlow. Ow.
Tyop du jour: “mumured.” A soft-spoken mumu is talking?
Mean things: Tickling, kicking, a wedgie, fainting, hospitals.
Time wasters: Well, I did something silly tonight: I screwed around on the internet while I ate dinner. Then I sat down to write. Oh noes! I’d already finished screwing around on the internet! What else was I going to do while trying to think up tonight’s words?

Fortunately, there is always more internet.

I could go for the extra 13 words to make that fun, but I’m too damn tired.

In other news: It’s good that I’m going to San Antonio this weekend, because neither Death at a Funeral nor Sicko will be playing here yet, and I want to see both.

The second half of the book is devoted to development: learning to build WordPress themes and plugins.

This is the second, much-revised and updated edition of Beginning WordPress 3, with a more accurate title. Everything’s been updated for WordPress 3.6.
