Don’t forget to take the opportunity to hit the Apple store in Plano while you’re there. ;)

Aww… *sniffle* I miss you guys too. I’m waiting for the con reports to go up.

Mike – dangit, had I remembered there was an Apple store up there, I could have done some damage. We did stumble over the Fry’s, so we squandered some cash there. I think I like the Houston store better, though. This one was cleaner, but their Mac section was disappointing.

And it turned out that our hotel was in Richardson, just down the highway from the ConDFW hotel and therefore a stone’s throw from the Half Price on Campbell, and the church was on Loop 12, a stone’s throw from the big central Half Price. So yeah, I got some books. :)

WordPress for Web Developers (9781430258667)

This is a book for professional web designers and developers who already know HTML and CSS, and want to learn to build sites with WordPress. The book begins with a detailed tour of the administration screens and settings, then digs into server-side topics like performance and security. The second half of the book is devoted to development: learning to build WordPress themes and plugins.

This is the second, much-revised and updated edition of Beginning WordPress 3, with a more accurate title. Everything’s been updated for WordPress 3.6.
