If you are a hotel events coordinator…

May 28, 2004 Stephanie Leary

… and you were contracted four months ago for a ceremony and reception, you really cannot wait until two days before the wedding to decide that your events room will hold only enough chairs for 2/3 of the guests.

You just can’t.

If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go dismantle a couple of people and feed the itty bitty bits of their remains to my goldfish. Of course I’ll have to purchase a goldfish first, but at this point that’s a very minor obstacle.

You could always just feed the bits to the GIANT KILLER KOI at Haiku here in CS. :)

Or just dump the coordinator into the water on the riverwalk.

WordPress for Web Developers (9781430258667)

This is a book for professional web designers and developers who already know HTML and CSS, and want to learn to build sites with WordPress. The book begins with a detailed tour of the administration screens and settings, then digs into server-side topics like performance and security. The second half of the book is devoted to development: learning to build WordPress themes and plugins.

This is the second, much-revised and updated edition of Beginning WordPress 3, with a more accurate title. Everything’s been updated for WordPress 3.6.
