Gallery2 Importer

This plugin allows you to import albums, images (with captions), and comments from a Gallery2 installation into your WordPress site. Albums will be saved as pages containing the [gallery] shortcode, and images will be saved as attachments. The album hierarchy will be preserved in the page hierarchy. You can preserve the original authors (creating new accounts if necessary) or assign all the new pages to yourself.

    Hi, Just downloaded and imported plugin v0.3 into my WordPress 3.01 multisite, activated solely on root site, and it does NOT appear in Tools menu. Problem?

      It will not be a separate menu item, but it should be listed among the other importers under Tools → Import.

    Okay, found,
    it is in Tools/import/ and not directly under Tools as I misunderstood.

    Hi,
    great plugin , just tested it out, i ran into a little problem, I have no comments in my gallery2, I am getting this error message :

    Couldn’t select gallery comments from the database.

    any solution for this ?
