My brother-in-law got the job he wanted, which means he and his wife will be moving back to Texas. (They will, in fact, probably end up living not too far from where I grew up.) She has a job offer that will let her go back to working in her field, and he will likely not get redeployed.
Doing the dance of joy would have been unseemly at work today, so I’m doing a little shimmy now.
