University podcasts… for writers

November 2, 2005 Stephanie Leary Leave a Comment

I get a lot of email every time universities start to adopt some new web technology, from people probably thinking it’s somehow relevant to the websites I produce. (It generally isn’t.) First it was RSS and now it’s podcasting. Every time a school puts up some lectures, someone emails me about it

And you know what? This time I’m glad. Because this stuff is actually useful for writing, too.

Check out this list of podcast lectures — Survey of Global History. Introduction to International Relations. Biochemistry. The Changing Oceans. All things I might listen to the next time I need to do research… or drive somewhere far away… or dust my house.

Stanford has quite a few, too.
