Notes from a cranky webmaster

November 22, 2004 Stephanie Leary

When your cranky webmaster receives a bad scan of 3 pages for the website, one of them handwritten, sent in an image format so that even the typed text can’t be copied, she gets EVEN CRANKIER.

I knew there was a reason why I refuse to set up a fax machine. Within moments I’d have stupid clients faxing me text instead of emailing it so I can actually cut and paste.

I have received bad, handwritten scans more than once, but thankfully, they’re usually just layout sketches with placement notes. Sympathies.
