Buffy & Angel goodness

May 13, 2003 Stephanie Leary

“End of Days” was delightful. Love seeing Angel there, even if it pisses off the Spike fangirls. How many times has Angel been that cheerful on this show? Twice, maybe? They’ve both changed. And oh! Miss Kitty Fantastico’s fate is revealed at last!

I picked up the latest Fray comic while I was in Houston over the weekend. Love that scythe. Have ordered earlier Fray issues. I’m going to get sucked into being a comic addict yet, I just know it. Except that they go much too fast.

Angel has been renewed. Huzzah! Less Cordelia, which I must say will be a relief after what they’ve done with her lately—and I’d be willing to put down money on the theory that the writers don’t want to deal with the aftermath of her recent storylines any more than the actress wants to work 15-hour days with a newborn in tow. More Spike, which could be good or bad. The Buffy writers have become enamoured of him to the point of neglecting the rest of the cast; Angel’s writers will have to steer clear of that. Shouldn’t be too hard, since they have things like the panther and the white room, NotDeadLilah, Holden’s twin, the unWatcher’s library, and all those evil minions to occupy themselves with. When I think about how much new stuff Minear packed into that last episode, my head starts to spin.

Oh, I almost forgot—what’s up with this extra episode of Angel they have scheduled for the 28th?

That was themost HILARIOUS commercial ever. If you dont laugh at that, you have no sense of humour!

This would make a good anti-drug commercial.
