Smaakvol

January 16, 2003 Stephanie Leary

That it is. (In case you’re wondering, “smaakvol” is one of their meta keywords. I was intrigued.)

According to one Dutch-English dictionary I found, “smaakvol” means “pleasing.” I suspect a more direct translation is “sounds wicked cool.” English has very few words with adjacent As, and is the poorer for it.

The site’s design is quite smaakvol, but my brain is too fried tonight to delve deeper into the code. (Brain-fry courtesy of using Movable Type for events calendars. Write-up forthcoming as soon as I work the bugs out.) More on Cinnamon Interactive tomorrow, after I’ve slept. (via Dive Into Mark)

My Books

I have been a web developer for over twenty years. I completed my MLIS in 2022 and am looking for new opportunities in libraries, government, education, or the publishing industry. You can get in touch here or on LinkedIn.
